Judicial Assistant Positions Now Available in the Court of Appeal
A great opportunity has arisen for law students to work with judges in the Court of Appeal.
The Court of Appeal is the busiest appeal court in England and Wales and many of the legal principles that you learn at law school emanate from this court.
Judicial assistants will be assigned to justices and will:
- Help in the preparation of hearings
- Analyse appeal papers
- Conduct legal research
- Prepare case summaries
The candidate will be in this temporary role from 2 October 2017 to 31 July 2018.
The fantastic thing about this role is that there is a broad person specification:
Candidates will normally have a 2:1 or better.
Practical experience of legal research.
Residence; must have resided in the UK for at least three years.
Legal research and IT skills.
